Radhika Das has been leading Kirtans worldwide for over 15 years. “These mantras have the power to transport you to the divine realm where every step is a dance, and every word is a song!”
Kirtan is a form of devotional music and chanting from the Bhakti yoga tradition. It involves the repetition of sacred mantras, prayers, or divine names, accompanied by music. The purpose of Kirtan is to invoke a deep sense of connection with divinity, promote spiritual growth, and cultivate a state of inner peace and joy.
Kirtan is not limited to any specific language, culture, or set of beliefs. You do not need a beautiful voice, or be musically talented to take part in Kirtan. An open heart is all that is required. Kirtan is an offering of love, an expression of gratitude, a gift to the divine who has given us everything, and to whom we can only really give our loving remembrance.
